Fabulous pale blue LuRay teapot. This 4-cup antique/vintage teapot was manufactured by Taylor, Smith & Taylor. Part of the Lu-Ray line that was produced 1938-1960, this one was made in 12/1949. Pastel blue color, also known as Windsor Blue. Gorgeous design, with super cool Art Deco shaped finial on the lid. Great display piece!
On the bottom: T.S.&T. Lu-RAY PASTELS, U.S.A. 12 49. Also, the letter "P" (incised). And "USA" is stamped on the inside of the lid.
Specs & Condition: 8.8" handle-to-spout, about 5" from the base to the top of the finial, and weighing in at 1 lb 6 oz (625g). No chips, No cracks, No repairs — but lots of crazing all over.
