"Roundup" Western Cowboys Bronze Bookends
Great bas-relief frieze, "Roundup", a pair of solid bronze "L" type bookends, made circa 1927, features a Western scene of cowboys on horseback, each with a lariat rope and in pursuit of a running bull, with a mountain terrain in the background, and nice dark age-consistent patina.
No. 2336 in Kuritzky and De Costa.
SPECS: Measures about 4.9" tall by 5.3" wide by 2.5" deep, the pair weighs in at 4 lbs 8 oz. Stamped "SOLID BRONZE" on the back of each.
