Polynesian Couple, a man and a woman in traditional costume, carved in the 1950's in the traditional folk style, but somewhat finer quality carving than many of this type (which tend to be very roughly carved cheap souvenirs). From the island-nations of the South Pacific. They are not signed.
SPECS: Each measures about 8" tall by 3.8" wide by 3.3" deep, the pair weighs in at 2 lbs 7 oz. Several large cracks indicative of age, and other wear and marks.
