Pennsbury Pottery, Green Spongeware Pitcher, holds about a pint (2-cups). A bright pretty yellow glaze on the outside and complementary green glaze on the inside. Two-line mark artist hand-signed in green glaze on the bottom: “Pennsbury Pottery”
Mint condition, no cracks, 2mm x 4mm chip on the rim, crazing. Measures about 4.9" tall, 3.8" diameter, 5" spout to handle, weight 12 oz. Spongeware is also sometimes referred to as spatterware.
