Vintage Olan Mills 108 Pellicle Film Camera w/ 50-150mm f4.5 Zoom Lens
One of the more unusual cameras ever produced — a “stepping stone” in the history of the transition from Film to Digital — this Olan Mills portrait camera uses a pellicle mirror to focus the light path on both film and CCD, so that the photographer could compose the image on an electronic monitor while maintaining the much higher quality (at the time) film output. The camera and high quality lens were made under contract, in Japan, for the Olan Mills Company. The camera accepts 35mm x 200 feet film cartridges.
Included are the Olan Mills Model 108 camera with 50-150mm f4.5 Zoom Lens, 95mm UV filter, plastic lens-hood, a short electronic cable that mates with the CCD Vision Camera Module port labeled “LENS”, and a hardshell fitted-foam case.
