Beautiful soft muted pastel colors of pink and gray on this striking "Fifties Modern" porcelain/china coffee pot by KPM of Germany, pattern number 700, circa 1957. Gold bands on the top/base, lid, handle, and spout. "Coffee Pot" is the correct description, although it would also make a very nice teapot or chocolate pot. Delicate understated pattern and colors ... so beautiful.
On the bottom: "KPM Krister, Germany" and R/crown logo, stamped in green. "61 869" or "698 19" stamped in orange/red. The numeral "3" incised.
LIKE NEW condition: No chips, no cracks, no repairs. Specs: 5.6" diameter, 10.2" handle-to-spout, 7" overall height, weighing in at 1 lbs 9 oz (710g). Looks like it would hold about a quart.
