Vintage Pennsbury Pottery, Gray Spongeware Creamer Pitcher, hand-signed by the artist in blue glaze: “Pennsbury Pottery, R.B.”, comfortably holds 1-cup. Gray, red and off-white glaze colors.
Nice condition, no cracks, 4mm x 9mm chip on rim, some roughness on the spout. Measures about 4" tall, 3.5" diameter, 4.5" spout to handle, weight 8 oz. Spongeware is also sometimes referred to as spatterware.
